HLSC Indoor Paper Plate Challenge League
League Description
The Indoor Paper Plates Challenge League takes place on the HLSC Indoor ranges during the winter season, from January until March. This league is a club sponsored event for club members and their families and guests. Shooters may use any approved firearm for the indoor ranges.
Matches are set up in which participants shoot at 5 paper-plate sized targets from a fixed distance. Targets are arranged in various patterns and the goal is to shoot 4 targets and a “stop-time” target for in the least amount of time for the lowest timed score.
There are 4 separate stages in which the competitor will shoot each stage from a distance of 21 feet. The shoot will shoot each stage 3 times, and their best two scores are selected. Upon completion of all 4 stages, a total score for the day is tallied for each competitor.
Each stage will use “Proportional Size” targets to simulating the layout and distance of the Outdoor Steel Targets Matches that take place on the outdoor lower ranges during the summer seasons.
Shooters should plan to shoot at least 60 rounds (60 rounds if you do not miss). You may need more.
Shooters should arrive at 5:30 PM to sign-in and receive squad assignments. Shooting starts at 6PM.
